Memorial and Honorary Donations
The Fayette County Public Library gratefully accepts cash donations for the purchase of memorial or "in honor of" books and other commemorative items. The Library Director makes selections in consultation with the donor to ensure a meaningful tribute.
Each item purchased will include a bookplate or donation label recognizing the donor and the individual being honored or memorialized. The library will also notify the family of the honoree or memorialized individual, providing details of the gift and the name of the donor.

Friends of the Library
The Friends of the Fayette County Public Library is a 501(c)(3) organization that exists to support the work of the library. You can get involved by participating in book sales, volunteering, and becoming a Friends member.
Book Donations
The library gladly accepts donations of gently used books, DVDs, records, puzzles, and games. Our Friends group couldn’t provide book sales without these generous donations!
We are not able to accept encyclopedia sets, magazines, or VHS tapes. For large-scale material donations, please contact the Friends of the Library directly.
Gift Fund
You can also donate money directly to the library to help support our scholarship fund and other library programs.
